Our cast members have ancestors from numerous tribes. We are Blackfeet, Choctaw, Cherokee, Creek, Apache, Seminole, Wasco, Warm Springs, Yakama, Tewa, Tigua, Gila River, Navajo, Shawnee and Columbian Yamasi, among others. Yet as Brent Florendo, our cultural consultant, reminds us, “It is not how long your braids are, it’s what is in your heart,”
